Our team comprises individuals from various backgrounds, united by our shared experiences in Thailand. Many of us are intricately woven into the fabric of Thai life, having married locals and started families here. Despite our deep roots in Thailand, we noticed a common challenge: the struggle to effectively communicate in Thai.
Our Inspiration
Our journey with SeriousThai began from a place of personal need. We found ourselves in daily scenarios where speaking Thai fluently would be a game-changer. The desire to make deep connections with local Thais, navigate social settings, embracing rich Thai culture and traditions, or finding love further amplifies the need for proficiency in Thai.
The Problem with Existing Solutions
In our quest to learn Thai, which might be similar to your experience, we tried various solutions all the way from language-learning apps to private tutors or public classes. However, we quickly noticed a recurring pattern: the high cost and a process often filled with distractions. These methods, instead of focusing on practical language skills, often emphasize less useful aspects and time-wasting techniques, leaving learners stuck in a semi-beginner state with diminishing progress. This realization led us to a question: There must be a better way to get fluent in Thai?
